OJ sent me this cover shot:

Who started/published this mag?
Anyone else got old NZ Skate mags??? I used to have a bunch of the old Tracks surf newspapers which first featured skateboarding BITD. I'd love to have them back!

I've got issue no. 2.
Has Boronski on the cover. Looks like he's kickturning the halfpipe of an under construction Skatopia Smile
There's a pic of the front and back covers on my site at
http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~mrdma/nzsb.jpg and
http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~mrdma/elroy.jpg
Don't know who published it, just a box number in Takapuna. It had some sort of affiliation with the NZSA (NZ Skateboarding Association)

LMFAO! As if anyone was ever gonna take "safety instructions" or MOT approval seriously! That's a fuckin' riot Mr. Green Just shows what type of clowns were/are involved with skating at this kind of public interface level Rolling Eyes

That's well-preserved old stuff & some classic photos right there though Jim Wink

Hey Vic, thought I had all the first 3 issues but only have this one that I can find. Used to have a stack of the original 'Tracks' surfing newspapers too that featured skateboarding originally, including the Waihi bowl opening, various champs etc. You remember those? Someone must have some of those somewhere.
